used Pierre image (I have an obsession with lonely tree), as well as another free 'landscape' image (mountains and shore) coming from Ingram, plus two others (for the glass and snow efffect) coming from Stock.XCHNG. added to that there's still another sky shot I took myself and a old render made with 3ds max.... blended everything together and here's the result^^. hope you like. program used: photoshop cs________ EDIT : ...um I just realised something. I made a mistake with the author of this poem... it's not T.S elliot but William Butler Yeats who wrote the 'two trees'... er sorry for that

Lucy, this is an incredible manipulation. Not only is it technically well done, it's also quite evocative of loss and inner turmoil...at least to me. Your images fascinate me. Thank you for another wonderful post and good luck.

Now that's the good stuff! Why, oh why did the gods of digital creation not grace me with talent such as this. ;) I love the feeling in this image. Dark and broody, right down my alley. :)

kat : as always I enjoy immensely your thoughts and comments. thanks^^

Pierre : yeah^^, I made a big use of the lonely tree... but it was a great tree!^^
though, to be honest I only removed the sky and buch of pines. I kept the grass... but I admit it's not very visible^^ lol.

klas: it's great to hear from you. glad you liked this^^

Art is the perception of the creator. Meaning is the perception of the viewer. acceptance is the perception of society.

You do these so well. Always giving depth, imagination, mystery and poetry (and i dont mean the text at the bottom) to an image. Your additions are always welcome ones.
Thanks.
Sam.
