The parents of these two are pictured in 'Love', one that I posted a few days ago. I am not to happy with the shadow that is on the boys face... I haven't really had much inspiration to take new photos here recently, but I am wanting to try some new things with lighting.. so hopefully new things to come!

A beautiful portrait of brother & sister ... they have lovely smiles. Callie, I like how you composed the image with the tree framing them on both sides.

Like I mentioned on your image "Love", it is difficult to get the lighting just right to avoid shadows & highlights (especially on the faces). Just keep experimenting with different lighting conditions.

Very nicely captured & I'll be looking forward to more.

Best wide-angle lens? Two steps backward. Look for the 'ah-ha'. Ernest Haas

I like it Callie. I too like the fork of the tree. Listen to Danika (Sherree) She knows of what she speaks.

Welcome to Caedes.

I'll meet you at the edge of the sunlight, just behind the shadows. Anyone who does not like clouds, does not like to dream. The Ghost

This was not an easy shot with the shadows and sunlight through the trees. Nicely done, I like it.

Very nice composition- I would try a fill flash and also try the kids in different clothing colors. Possibly a red would be a nice contrast to the green leaves.

Portrait shots really are not as easy as some would have you believe. This one is very well done. As for the inspiration, it will come. I have slumps too, hang in there.
