Some wood, a nail or two, some vines, trees, and sky. But I guess you can see that :P

Lovely image, good composition and colour. The blurry effect really enhances main subject which is full of detail.

Another great perspective! You have a knack for finding great angles. It's not just some wood, you made it look great. By the way, what does RGB stand for?

RGB stands for Red, Green and Blue. It's a standard mode in Photoshop, and the primary colors in this image. Thanks for the comments everyone :)

Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb. - Churchill

Ok, you got me doing the hand framing technique here. Lol at my own self on that one.

The DOF is not quite right in my mind. But, as I alluded to above ... it may be because of a few extraneous elements in the background that are serving to distract from the perspective you have used.

The fence or gate and the small part of the path(?) that can be seen in the left portion is the single culprit, I think. The colour is too close to that of the wood and I find my eye moving off to the left.

The other textures and colours in the background are sufficiently blurred and contrasted enough with your focal subject to create some nice depth. As a suggestion, as always ... I might have been tempted to crop or clone out that problematic area in my mind. And I am definitely using the word 'problematic' loosely.

I am enjoying your look behind the lens and look forward to more postings. Nice work.
