Isn't the Miami Seaquarium great? :) Wonderful capture, Rebecca. This underwater scene makes an outstanding desktop. If you get ahold of Darryl he will probably recommend that you try a wonderful program called Neat Image to automatically repair some of the graininess in this. You can download a free version for personal use, I think from neatimage.com. Thanks for sharing this fascinating image!
Having attempted many of these sort of water shots I know how difficult they can be so it was great to see you have posted this very very impressive thanks for sharing
Nice shot, Rebecca - a little blur or grain doesn't detract from an underwater shot the way it would from some other pics. Neatimage is good for removing noise - I've used it a lot since Darryl recommended it. But the thing that I've found improved my scans the most is scanning from negative rather than print. It's not a cheap solution, but I needed a new printer and a new scanner, and getting a combined one that also scanned negs (I went for the Epson RX500) didn't add that much to the overall cost, and gives much better results. I know Pierre (ppigeon) has a specialist neg scanner and has uploaded some excellent pics from it.
Well done on getting such a nice clear shot, I also know how hard it is trying to get a decent shot from any indoor seaquarium's. Thanks for sharing :)
Oh, this is a good shot. I agree with all the above comments. Don't see many images of sea turtles - he looks like quite a mover. This looks good as wallpaper. Thanks for something different...
