Wow, it's not often a B/W sunset scene grabs me like this did. Very nice perspective and how nicely the clouds were participating! Very lovely! ~Mary~

Yup...I'm with Mary on this one...I'm not a fan of black and white most of the time, but this is really really good :)

Beautiful shot Matt.

Really, really nice feel and mood to your image here.

Composition looks perfect ... however, a minor caveat on that aspect.

Uhm ... spoke a little too soon, lol. I just cranked up my brightness and contrast on my monitor. Thought initially that the wonderful leading lines of the water and shore's edge were lost somewhat.

Curious though, what the result would be with some further experimentation with levels on that the element of the shore, in particular the sandy area and perhaps some midtone and shadow adjustments in the bush area in the left hand side.

Nothing major mind you, just a suggestion ... to my eyes the balance of literal light compositionally overall ... and in my very humble opinion, is off a tad.

Uhm ... I did say beautiful shot, didn't I?

Whew, good good. I would not want you to get the impression that I am not impressed with your visual offering here. :o)

Nice work Matt, and but of course ... thank you for sharing this view with us.

Great tones and lots of interest, if I can ever get my black and whites looking half this good I'll be ecstatic!

This is beautiful. I have no idea how you did it, but I don't want to know. It has a haunting edge to it. It's wonderful. cheers, Quiet

Almost missed this. This is an excellent image imo. Great toanl range achieved with the difficult lighting. Well done and I too will add to my saved files.
