"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
Excellent perspective veiw/shot, but mite be better without the pelican (intense blue/yellow in foreground) maybe all depends on what you were looking for.
Hi, A rgeat shot with excellent perspective but must agree with HazyHairs above about the Pelican because it seems to prevent the viewer from entering the image.
Ya know ... I think your image here qualifies for Morat's Assignment #3 as well.
The diagonals are quite prominent to my eyes ... even the ... ahem ... horizon's tilt. :oP
Kidding you a little bit there, but ... 'sup with that aspect?
Explanation waited on ... in the meantime ...
Really, really want to like this one more ... as mentioned and echoed above, the perspective and receding leading lines of both the dock and supporting poles are certainly visually appealing and very much an attention grabber.
Just needs some refinement to elevate it.
Ahh, what the heck ... never stopped me before, lol ...
More colour please. Perhaps, increasing that element alone in the background might offset what has been mentioned about the prominence of the Pelican and it's respective colourations?
