This is a wonderful upload. I especially like your post work, but even without that this composition is wide in scope and amazing.

That sky is awesome, perfect shades of blue, and that view looks phenominal.

Wow, that peak is really dramatic. It reminds me of LOTR where Aragorn gets pulled off that one cliff on that wolf dog thing.

You're becoming quite the mountaineer. I like the gradient in the sky, did you use a polerizing filter or photoshop?

Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb. - Churchill

Really a nice composition Matt.

Certainly took on the challenge of the environment, lighting et al and succeeded in presenting us with a rather pristeen image. Yeah, nicely done indeed.

Think, in my very humble opinion ... you might have been able to squeeze a bit more out of your visual offering here with a combination of Exposure and Shadow/Highlight adjustments, in addition to Levels.

That said with the prior knowledge of your post work gleaned from your replies to comments.

Having said that ... the sky is perfect. Depth is good ... really liking the presentation.

Here ... *hands Matt some more snow*

It's just a symbolic gesture between our people for a superb effort.

*gets hit in the head by a snow shovel*

Alllll part of the ritual ...

*passes out*

:oP

And that silliness aside, but of course ... thanks for sharing this one with us. Take a bow. :o)
