I love this image - it's good to experiment. I would like to see the lamps being supported by a more organic shape than a straight cylinder.

I like this a lot, though I agree a darker version would be nice - I'd like to see the lamps really shining in the darkness to see their effects. They strike me as a little short, but I'm not sure what effect you're looking for. If this was a human scene, though, either the stairs look too big or the lamps look too short. So, maybe it isn't...
