Yes it is quite different, very abstract. The background could be more interesting but maybe you weren't interested in developing it further. I wouldn't mind seeing this with a bit of KPT hypertiling.

Sam: yes the background could be better. As you say, I took it so far and then abandoned it. That is one of the reasons I did not submit it.

At least you can see the desktop with a black background. What was the fruit before you did what you did? It is strange but interesting.

This one really caught my eye - it's not all "slick and smooth and reflective". Nice bumpy, prickley texture....I like it!
