This picture was taken with a Canon 300d and kit lens. I have been viewing this gallery for a long time now and thought I`d add one of my own, as I am a big fan of the artwork shown. I hope that everyone enjoys this piece as much as I have enjoyed the rest of the work on this site. Please feel free to leave comments, both good and bad because as the way I see it: Praise makes the head grow larger, criticism makes the photographer better.

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

It's quite a pleasant shot. The different elements are not instantly clear to me - it's hard to tell if it includes multiple shots, image manipulation, merging images. What relationship did you want to convey between a swan and the coloured lights? Maybe it is all one picture, but a few too many differences across it for 'my' tastes. The blurred water looks like a slow shutter speed was used - which might explain the colours behind the swan coming from a moving object, and the swan itself not crystal clear. It's an image that looks like it was thoughtfully constructed, but I cannot understand the story behind it. Good vision and artistic interpretation though ..... THANKS !!!

Hard work never killed anybody, but why take a chance?

This is a busy post but it is nice anyway. I too not sure what all it took to do this but it is pretty cool.
