It is rare that I am able to actually own a fine antique. Please note the clean lines, the excellent craftsmanship, and the use of only the best materials. You really must view it full size to see its unique splendor. I think it is the product of European or Amish craftsmanship. What gives me the most pleasure is that this fine example of American folk art will be here through the ages and will be viewed through subsequent generations of my family: grandchildren, great great grandchildren and so on. Along with posting this picture on Caedes I have sent the image to several local galleries and asked them if they would like to add it (the bucket, not the image) to their collections, IF the bid is adequate. So far, I have not heard back from any. Also, if it has not yet found its way to a gallery, I will take it to an Antiques Road Show, when one is in the area. I am interested in its value at auction.
