One for Foofy Friday. These are the papery remnants left after the blooming of two large red hibiscus.

Shows how much I know about foofies. I would have thought these were new blooms about to open. Excellent clarity and lighting, Connie. Beautifully presented for Fx2.

Interesting shot. We had Hibiscus bushes where I grew up but I never noticed the remains after the petals fall. The remains are lovely in their own right and you made a fine image to show it. Nicely done.

It just goes to show you Connie, that a flower doesn't have to be in full bloom to be beautiful - this stage is lovely as well - very well photographed on your part - Great Capture for Foofy Friday!!!!!!!

Excellent and very interesting image Connie. I would not have recognized these as the remains of hibiscus - beautiful and unusual capture.
