This is just how it came out of the camera, except I cropped a small amount off the bottom to remove a distraction.

You're not the only one Connie!
Love this 'unspoiled' (LOL!) image with its perfect lighting. The lighted leaves versus the dark background perform a perfect match.
Very well done!!

You captured the lighting perfectly. The dark background sets it all off.

Nicely composed. Connie.

I like how you placed the angular line of the growth, reaching to the upper right-hand corner. And.. truncating, just before to allow some space before the outside frame.

Colours are good good, too.

Exposure and lighting conditions were handled well.

And on the latter.. some nit-picking, as that is all that the following is.

The parts of the leaves that caught the full sunlight, are ever so slightly overexposed. Not much detail contained therein, simply put.

To elevate your photo.. either, shoot outside of the hours of the direct sunlight. Or.. underexpose using the EV/Exposure compensation option for your camera.

Suffice to say, it is much easier to 'brighten' up an image after the fact.

That said..

This is.. a good good image. Make no mistake about the words above. It caught my eye when you uploaded it, and that is mission accomplished. To bring your viewers in for a closer look.

So.. a well done in is order.

And a.. but, of course.. for sharing this one with us.

(The only other thought on the note of constructive criticism that comes to mind.. is to be aware of any 'mergers' with your outside frame. Such as the left-hand leaf touching and extending beyond.

Either.. get closer, and fill the frame.. or back up to capture your entire subject.)

Thanks for your critique and the constructive advice about "mergers." I'll be on the look-out in future images. I really do appreciate your input.
