desatuation was a good move. it really pulled the true suject out. i think any other way(i studied it for some time now just staring at it) would have been a wrong way to go. im like the satuation king, i should know...infact i get a little carried away with it at times.

Should've cropped tighter still. Lose the distracting sprays at the bottom and make sure the spray at top-right is hitting bang in the apex of the corner. ;)

If you have a lens with macro capabilities, Connie, try one in very close, so all we see are the tiny barbs. That would do well in one of our rare "What is it?" contests.
