I have to apologies for the lack of sharpness in this picture. There was no photos allowed in the chapel so I took it without flash. The light was very low. I'll probably go to hell for this!
Paul, think that even with flash the result wouldn't have been better. The only solution is using a tripod, remote control for your camera and chosing a longer opening time for your shutter, but it can't be done as, and you already said this, it's not allowed to capture images there.
Giving the restrections, think you've achieved the best possible result. Thanks a lot anyhow for this image!

For a quick click so that nobody sees you, this is a great photograph. I haven't really noticed the imperfect sharpness before I read the description. I think it turned out pretty nice, and for once, it is in a good format so I can put it on my desktop. :)
See you there Paul! lol! I did take a photo myself without flash of part of the ceiling. The only reason they say not to take photographs is because flashlight will damage the paintwork over time and they know people take photographs - they were taking them all around me. ...so I turned my camera upwards from waist height and took a picture which has come out remarkably sharp. I might post it sometime! This is a lovely reminder of what I saw - the paintings are outstanding - almost 3D!

If you are going to hell for this, then I will see you there. I forgot to take my hat off, and was reminded by an official. We are so bad, huh? Very nice shot. Sure brings back more memories.
