Do you guys like the green of the image? I first went with just the yellow in color, but later changed it to include the green of the leaves to add some variety...
I should have called this "Fleeting beauty". I walked past the place where I took this photo today, and the rose was all dried up.
LOL Funny thoughts... "O, my love's like a yellow, yellow rose...." Anyway, this is a breathtaking photograph; you should be very proud. I personally really like the little splash of green.
Yes, I think the green is what set it apart from the other images you've done with the b&w. I liked all those too, but this one is extra striking and also in my favorites.
You've done it again. I'm really enjoying this series. I hope we have not seen the last of it. I think this will be the first flower picture I have ever given a 10. Great work!
strikingly beautiful! a wonderful contrast between the perfect yellow rose and the rest of the image.. the grey shades make an excellent background. also, i love what you did with that leaf and left it green.. the green and yellow are so vivid and gorgeous.. i must say, this one impressed me a lot. straight into my favourites with this fabulous work!
also, praise for your dedication. a true friend is like this beautiful rose - the most precious thing. thank you for sharing this amazing work with us! :)
Im sorry i have to do this *theres a yellow rose in texas! that im going to see!* Sorry, but i saw that title and i had to do that. lol. But, on the note of the picture, its a beautiful rose. The black behind it makes it POP right out at ya! Adds real character

Absolutely amazing. As does everyone else, I love how you've incorporated the black background to enhance the color, details, and simply the beauty of the rose. Going in my favs!
