Yup. That's the problem with some of the earlier images of Hubble, but there isn't much you can do about that.

Pretty scary to think that, that galaxy will collide with ours one day....
Thanks for sharing this image, pretty neat.

People just use a paint program and copy paste the stars into the edges

This is soo cool but what happend to the edges if it's supposed to end there just use the eraser(a really fluffy one) and just go by it really close and it will melt into the image without leaving anymore ugly straight lines I know that will work in Photoshop if you are using something else I can't help you I can just point it out. But the rest was very well done keep it up

" Pretty scary to think that, that galaxy will collide with ours one day...."

That'll happen in a couple of billion years. But is anyone doing anything about this pending catasprophe? No!

Probably wont be a huge catastrophe. I think the staggering odds are that even though we collide, most stars just get slung around a little. We wouldn't feel it. But yes, billions of years away.

It's 13 billion years. Give or take a couple years. And yes we would be affected, considering Earth would be slung so far out into the universe that we would not be able to survive. Then by the wonderful mysterious force we call gravity will suck us back in to our galaxy and shoot us through the middle of the milky way and back out the other side into the far reacjes of space. That occurs a lot of times and then eventually we go through both the middle of our galaxy and the Andromeda galaxy. If you do not know, our galaxy has actually already collided with another galaxy before as well. I am in Astronomy class right now, and we just learned all about this....
