Part of my "Foggy Lake Michigan" Set. I'm not entirely happy with this. The portrait-style photo is obviously the showcase, but I couldn't find any good way of framing it. Please leave a suggestion.

I like it...the lighter horizontal band leades the eye to the lighthouse better. I like the textures in the border, they add nice contrast to the soft view of the tower, and the colors compliment each other. I'm not so sure about the triangle pipe thing thats leading to the lighthouse...perhaps if you had a different view? If you took that out of the picture, it would allow for a much larger view of the lighthouse, which could be nice. I'll have to check out your other photos in this set! =) Good job though, its a nice work,

The triangle pipeline is a power conduit (at least I think it is) leading to the lighthouse. I added it to show a good depth of field :)

I think this works quite well....I like the colour image superimposed on the B&W....Framing is always a matter of opinion....Although you have used a soft frame here.... for doing quick hard frames the freebie screen capture utility MWSnap includes a nice little facility which, though simple, is very versatile.

I think this image is really nice. The way the shot was taken and the framed effect here works well together. I think is a fabulous job. Two thumbs up from me :)
