This is lovely, the framing adds impact and the colour is superb. We call them matchheads here - always a sure sign of spring along with the daffodils.

Just a thought, but you cropped out the leaf behind the flower, hard to tell how much of it there is in the picture. If there is enough for it to extend out the "back" of the frame, it would truely give the photo a 3D effect. Love the idea of the way that you framed it, I think we may see some other photographers use the same technic in the future. Great Job!!
