That is one beautiful swan capture. I would have cloned out the weed going up thru his head. It's a bit distracting. He swam over to take a look at you, didn't he? You really did well on this. I think it deserves more than what it has received so far.

Hi Sabine, this is definitely a male [or Cob] Mute Swan. He's displaying to you;o) Beautiful capture with fine plumage detail, not always easy with white. It tends to bleach out when I try it..
