Wow, what a scene. There is some anxiety in the air... It must have been great feeling to be there. It gives an impression that a man is so small and unimportant against the powers of nature.

That’s an awe inspiring and slightly intimidating view, the kind of scene that makes you stop everything and just watch. Fascinating.

Joel, this is so cool. I love the desert for its' storms, there's no other place like it.

The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life. Since man is mortal, the only immortality possible for him is to leave something behind him that is immortal since it will always move. This is the artist’s way of scribbling; “Kilroy was here” on the wall of the final and irrevocable oblivion through which he must someday pass.

I knew this was yours eveb before I saw the name. You are a sunrise/sunray specialist, and once agagin -you done did it! You know, I think that black cloud in the upper left, graced by the blinding white lining at the top catches my eye before the sunrays do. At any rate, the entire photo has your mark on it-QUALITY!

I have one gripe-why the frame at the bottom? I keep wanting to rip it away and see what's under there. Durn you!
