This little cactus lives in a pot on the windowsill. Just today it burst into bloom. The tiny flowers are less than a half inch across.

This is oh so pretty. Hard to believe something so pretty is hurting to the touch. Nice way you have photographed it for us to see.

I love how the bright yellow pollen is resting on the smooth pink petal. I agree Cynlee, its interesting that something so beautiful can be something so unpleasant from a different aspect!
