Our local mountain range, called the Floridas because it is full of flowers in the spring when there has been a wet winter, is high enough at 7500 feet to collect a little snow sometimes. This is the best so far this winter.

This is image has 2 extreme climate conditions in one I suppose. The dry hot and the wet cold. I like the distance u show in this and specially the wide angle.

I love the striped effect of the light brown vegitation, the terra cotta earth and the green of the grass. They provide a ghostly foreground to the mountains. This one goes right onto my desktop for everyone at work to enjoy. Thanks!

These are high contrasts. Looks so dreamy. Those mountains are awsome and the colors are terrific. Beautiful capture. :)

Absolutely stunning capture David. Beautifully composed - the mountain range is magnificent to see. I like the tree in silhouette to the left. Love all of natures colors - browns, oranges, golds and the blue/pink shades of the mts. Gorgeous work here :))

I need to catch up on things so can't comment too much. But I love all of your fine images. I might be lurking in the background :)
