This is the monochrome version of Snow on Dragon Ridge. Seems to convey a very different mood.

what an interesting interpretation this is. the black and white (severe) is a fascinating way to display the scene. verrrrry nice!

Wonderful conversion to IR imagery. The vast skies makes the mood.

Wow this is great, the momchrome makes it look really rugged and wild and brings out the detail in the rocks. I also love the way they clouds seem to be kind of swirling round the peaks. Great work!

Hi David, congratulations on a great post! From me, one of the highest scores in the VB yet. The composition is perfectly balanced, and the B & W is also a great choice. My only comment is that I wished the mountains on the right of the image were were slightly more sharp. Thanks again for sharing. Herman

The distances look so close, yet so far away. The clouds really make the mountinas seem to be just a quick little hike, yet I'm sure that it would be the better part of a day to reach the snow. Great contrast throughout the image.

The B&W takes it up a notch for me. That's something I'd want to blow up and put on a wall. Very nice effect.

I don't know what it is about that fence at the bottom of the picture, but I really like it. I like this in black and white. It's very soothing. I want to ride a horse through there or something.

B/W brings out the best in this.saw the coloured version; this is superior as it focuses on mood which is the inrteresting part of this image.excellent work!
