The interior main lobby of the Musee D'Orsee, in Paris. I like the high vantage point and the feeling of an overwhelming amount of space within the building. Please enjoy!
avoiding symmetry by turning the camera a bit to the right made composition less boring. however, awful purple fringing spoils the effect a bit. but i guess that's the fault of optics not entirely yours;)
I like the feeling you've created here by being so high up and affording us a bird's eye view of this most intriguing museum. It is an enormous space, and I suppose that leaves room for people to enjoy the pieces displayed and for the museum to display many many items. The building itself is a item on display architecturally with the domed roof adding a touch of softnesss to what could otherwise be an austere interior, although with all those windows and the ornate decorations that cover it from top to bottom, I suppose it wouldn't be tooo boring :) Clarity is great, and the purple fringe is forgiven amongst all the lovely things to see in this post... :)PJ
