In Destin, after hurricane Dennis, the water had eroded all the way up the beach. This was once a parking lot, now sections of pavement hang out over a tall sandy ledge.

Oh my goodness! A parking lot? Its frightening to know what can suddenly change an area of land..and the sea...And this being in black and white makes it even more dramatic. Glad you posted this....wow.
