Alberta as in Alberta, Canada?? I didn't know they had rain forests..

They do have rain forests there. Small but real ones. This one was on the west side of a large lake. The East side was ordinary northern forest. It's located near Banff.

This is really nice. There is always that element of luck I suppose to stumble upon, go looking for and in finding a subject like this ... however, to do it justice like you have is wonderful. A great image.

This log has evrything hanging to it's back except the kitchen sink. I like the little mushrooms the best. The green ferns and moss came out good to. I seem to lose my orientation as I look towards the bottom of the log. Something needs to be there. ther than that, a lovely aray of nature.

I think it is stunning - both nature and the photog did an outstanding job here. I like the contrast from greens to oranges in the coloring.
