It was a perfect autumn day in the high country of Colorado. This is Castle Creek Valley near the ghost town of Ashcroft.

Beautiful. The colors are so twisted they look almost unnatural, but then again I've never seen shimmering gold aspens IRL. ;)

I like how you can see part of the mountains in the backgound, but not all of them. It makes the photo have a more 3D like quality. I wish I was there right now. Thanks for sharing this one.

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh dats purty. Do I see some campers down there? Maybe there's room for me. Love the intersecting lines. Good compositon and the color is natural and spot on. Colorado...ah yes, loved driving thru that state...in the summer time.
