I really enjoy the hightech look that was pioneered in Europe and is prodominant on DeviantArt and DepthCore. I learned a lot from the young artists there and owe them a debt of gratitude. And I can't forget Cain, who also has wonderful talent in this arena. Thanks for the inspiration Cain. This is the second in my "Amorphos" series. I hope you enjoye this genre of TechArt. You can see number one in the series in the guess the artist contest, now fully revealed.

Art is the perception of the creator. Meaning is the perception of the viewer. acceptance is the perception of society.

This is really cool, looks like there was a great attention to detail. Although for the desktop, I would rather have it without the text in the upper-right

Awesome work Peter!
I love this type of art too ^_^ The colour is very fitting and I love all the extra details you've added.
I haven't achieved making anything in this style that I'm happy with, but you've suely inspired me to have another go!
Top marks for this, well done :]

EXELENT job on this. Perfect wallpaper for my linux box. Perfect composition and crisp quality. the background text makes it looks very attractive as a "techy" feel.

Thanks very much for this one. 10/10

Truly astonishing. Great piece, clarity and detail are without doubt extensions of your skills Peter. I love tech, my tastes however are minimalism and try not to incur too much detail, this however is due to my skill level. You achieve this, I hope one day to be as competent. Thanks for the incentive here for me to try harder. Nik ;-)

you really give me too much credit Peter but you're welcome^^...

this is really impressive.

I really like the level of depht and details you achieved here.
the twist of the complex shape and the flow of motion is quite unusual.
it seem to go all sides at once. it's a really nice effect.

the lighting and contrast is attractive and well thought. you left a bit of mystery in your shape... though maybe it's a bit too soft for me.

some parts of the shape need a tad bit more lighting ( you can achieve that just by adding a layer and using the brush with the blend mode 'lighten"). just to make the contrast in some place stronger than the rest.

The text on the left is a good add, it enhance the "computer - sci-fi" feel.
I quite like the font of the title as well though it seem a bit too big and the little effect on it it's not really necessary for me though. it create a distance with the image. like the title is not a part of it. would work better with a less opacity, in the same blue of the shape, on the right side, vertically I think, but it's just a thought.

The fog effect you created here is really cool... it give a great feel of depth.
I also like the blue color you choose for the shape it work well with the subject...

the only thing is that, for me, it doesn't seem to work with all the others colors tones. maybe it's the grey wich give me this impression.

i'm curious to see how it would work with others colors. In photoshop there's a great tool called "gradiant map" (layer > new adjustement layer > gradiant map). it's the tool I use the most. it's really useful when you want to see your image with different shade of colors quickly and you can achieve nice effect playing with the blend mode and the opacity.

all in all this is really a great pic. I really like it the way it is. the title really being the only thing which seem a bit unecessary...

good job Peter^^

This one caught my eye in the voting booth because I see shapes in the thumbnails that aren’t apparent in the full screen. I like oddities like that. It’s also interesting at full screen though I think a few more hi-lights would give it an eye-catching boost. The level of detail is excellent and holds the viewer’s interest while they explore the image. All in all it’s a fascinating image.
