This is a memory shot taken from the Pine Creek Cook-house, outside the ghost town of Ashcroft near Aspen. It's an elegant restaurant way off the beaten track. To get there in winter you have to snowshoe or take a horse drawn sleigh. I've loved this scene for more than 30 years. I'll be leaving Colorado soon and I'll take this with me.

Just Excellent...you be sure and get a lot of shots before you have to move. Let somebody else do the packing...this is a 10 when/if I get it in the voting booth and I've saved it to my summer file already. I just love this view :)

Simply breathtaking. The Man upstairs had fun with His canvas. Colorado will miss you! But at least you were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery for a good while

Well I found another place to live where I'll plenty to photograph...the north coast of California. I hope to buy a house right on the bluff above the waves. Awesome. Let's see what I get for my home in Aspen first.
