I shot this image from the deck just outside my living room. What you see is what you get, no manipulation. I was sitting there watching the moon rise and suddenly this wonderful color came over the valley. I rushed out onto the deck to capture it. I hope you like it. I did use my Leica 12-1 zoom lens at near full extension, but I'll keep this image in my collection always. It reminds me of home.

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon

this is an easy one to love, I like the lighting and color, the moonlight is not that easy to capture. you've done a wonderful job here. it deserves a higher score than 50. thanks for sharing a bit of your life and vision

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings: And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill. That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes. We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not. Yet so the universe was wrought . Thought is another name for fate. Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
