great shot, with a quite the "pose". had the frame been just a bit wider, and didn't snip off the poor groom's fingertips (ouch) this would've been even better.
Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
Love the monochromatic tones this image has Bethany. The contrast between the groom's hand and the brides is really eye-catching. I think it might have been a bit more 'complete' if the bride's thumb and the grooms fingertips were not out of the frame.
Otherwise, very lovely and definitely has that 'wow' factor for me!
Thank you for the compliments & critique all :) I actually cropped the image this way because I wanted the subject to be the rings, not the hands and thought that having it "zoomed out" detracted from the main subject. That was just a stylistic choice (perhaps not necessarily the best). I'll experiment with other framing and see what turns out. Thanks again all, I really appreciate it!
A good picture. A sentiment too often forgotten in our divorce crazy world. "Till death do us part" has instead taken on the meaning, "Until we become so selfish we don't feel like working at it any more".
It feels good to be reminded of the oath marriage contains. "Till Death Do Us Part", and "What God hath put together, let no man put assunder."
Keep it up!
P.S. if you get a chance, take a look at my gallery. Any comments, criticisms, advice, (even snide remarks) = - ] would be more than welcome! Hope you have an awesome day!
