Simply beautiful! I love the way you composed this shot, with the flower resting neatly in the center. the color of the flower and it's leaves give a nice contrast and feel of life among the dead leaves and twigs. Excellent clarity as well, thanks for sharing this with us.

The contrasting textures of the bark and leaves and branches, as well as their respective colour palettes ... provide for a wonderful setting for this beauty.
Detail and clarity are very good. Technically there is not much in error here with your image. For all those reasons mentioned ... my one caveat seems trifling now in retrospect. The only ... only thing I can think of that would elevate this image would be a slightly more off-center focal point of your star model. Purely to add some more visual interest. A minor suggestion ... and that is all it is ... a suggestion.
Well done. Nice work ... very nice work.
Thanks for sharing. :o)
p.s. Allow me to add this ... it will, provided you are not facing any restrictions, be of benefit to post the larger resolutions for the viewers. It will garner your work that much more attention and show it, like this image here, in it's very best light. Just an f.y.i..
Very beautiful, clear image of this flower. Might be a bit more interesting if not dead center and shot from straight above, but it's great this way too. Consider posting at 1600x1200. A lot more people will see your work and maybe use it as wallpaper. 1024x768 screens were state of the art about 20 years ago.

Trillium undulatum is one variety I have never seen in the wild. Congratulations on finding this fine specimen and photographing it so clearly and well.
