Hi Laurel! Thanks for ~on the rcoks~. We have similar tastes in flowers :)..I love the colors you captured here. The blossom appears to be on fire and is very alive! Good detail & color along with the composition. I am putting this into my fav's folder on my harddrive so I can see it run on my picture slideshow everytime I walk into the office! Well done. This is a very nice picture of a daylily. Just goes to show what a hardy type of plant they are to be able to compete with the thistles and poison ivy. And what a hardy photographer you are to brave those perils to get such a fine photo.
