There were a couple of marmots romping around the slopes of Mt. Elbert in Colorado...I got the chance to photograph them. This one looked very proud on his little rock cairn!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

"There are no rules and regulations for perfect composition. If there were we would be able to put all the information into a computer and would come out with a masterpiece. We know that's impossible. You have to compose by the seat of your pants." -Arnold Newman
i love this. great place to shoot... i wish the little man was a bit closer to make him more of the focal point... it took me a sec to see him. nevertheless... a great shot
