My First attempt at HDR, let me know how to improve it. Using Photomatix basic, 4 shots 1 normal 2 low 1 high. Devils mill at rumbling Bridge, Perthshire, Scotland. The waterfall gets its name from the noise created by the water falling on rocks and crevices which create a sound similar to the workings of a mill.

Well, since you asked ... best grab yourself a cuppa ... here you go:

"HDR Tips"

"high dynamic range"

"High-Dynamic-Range (HDR) tutorial .. by .. CSP"

"HDR - Photomatix Artifacts"

Oh, no need to thank me for ruining your eyes with the amount of reading before you ... it's ... what I do. Words have a certain appeal to moi.

:oP

/\ Just kidding a bit.

Let's see ... tripod? Check?

Camera support auto-bracketing? Check?

And you really challenged yourself what with the given lighting conditions evident in your image here.

First attempt? On the big plus side, you did not overdo stuff.

A bit more experimentation, and I am sure that you can 'get there from here'.

:o)

I prefer natural to HDR but you've found a very pretty place to practice.
