I have actually experimented with some of the fractal generators and the main thing that strikes me (other than the need to know when to quit on a particular evolving glyph) is that there is a lot of fine detail that is obscured by a black background. I like a background that picks out the lighter tones of the glyph...as long as the integrity of the lines is maintained. I see you've done that here...and I like it a lot!
