Now I know why I asked.. first the other version is top!! But there is some natural beauty in this version. The autumn hasn't always the amazing sky, but in combination with the autumn colours in the trees there comes the magic. I say.. yes!! Good post and thank you Edoardo! Mich

The smooth sky and the almost monochrome coloured building at the background make that all the attention is drawn to the golden leaves. Well chosen composition Ed. Good work.

I agree with the others. There is much natural beauty in this one and nice to see the contrast between the two photos. This one is just as nice in a different way. I like the way the ligh falls on the tree on the left and how there is a bit of a glow by the roofline, interesting colour and texture in the building as well.

Both look great, but for me, this one has more appeal. Maybe it's the natural looking sky. I love the angle. Thanks for posting this one, Ed.

Ed - I think I like this one better with the natural colors, with lighting on the yellow leaves. There is a lot to view in this photo. As is obvious from all the comments, each of us has varied art tastes and that is what makes posting on this site so interesting. Thad

I like both versions, but have to say I like the lighting on the leaves in the original much better. Very well done Ed.

Hi Ed, I like this version better (sorry, my opinion!) because of its more natural colours. Thank you for showing us both
versions.

Although your first submission caught my attention first, I can enjoy this original for it's natural colours and lighting. But, for me, I find your first submission much more interesting and appealing. Although, I must say that I'm not big on heavy usage of HDR effects, or the like. I think it all depends on the capture.

In this particular capture, I'm drawn to the soft lighting just above the roof line, and the contrast between the tree in the light versus the three in the shadows. Nice perspective, and very well done on both submissions.

Thank you for sharing your talents :)

I like this one the best EDV. I like the reality of the scene. I like FDR too, but mainly when it enhances the photo. Not when it becomes the subject and the main focus.

I like this too though it doesn't have the dramatic impact of the other.
