The arches are part Roman and part Middle Aged. Below the arches there are a museum and a bistrot. Up an old house which may belong to the 800 period. In a nutshell a typical Italian style combination. Ed.

Ed - Clearly, the Romans constructed their buildings to last a while, and the builders of the Middle Ages followed with the same quality! The textures of the walls, with the tree and greenery above, make a beautiful photo. Thad
