The architecture in this is absolutely amazing. Also, I love the colours in this (as usual ^_^). That man, and the ones in the background, almost look out of place in this picture when placed against this architecture. Judging from the funky brown stuff growing on the building in the back of the picture this must have some amazing greenery to it in summer.

Beautiful shot, Ed!

Ed - Textures lighting, and tone are wonderful! (I am intrigued by the contrast of the textures of very old buildings and the 'Laserworld' sign over the door on the left.) Well done, as always. Thad

You have so many great images I wish I had the time to share my thoughts on all of them! Unfortunately, I can only do a few. I love your composition here and the contrast of modern man against the backdrop of ancient buildings. It would have been perfect if her were utterly alone. Removing the other people in the background would give you a truly stark effect. The long shadows are wonderful. I would have liked our man just a little lower in the image to dwarf him a bit more against the tall bold structures. Love your work Ed! anne :-)

Tell me if you like it or don't but be sure to tell me why! I promise to always give honest and sincere (albeit gentle when necessary) critiques. MY NEW YEARS TIP for all, go have some fun with your new gear you got for Christmas. Do some things you rarely or never do. If you always shoot scenics, go shoot macros (or as close up as you can get.) Practice on different subjects, try new lighting techniques, bracket your shots (shoot the same image at different exposures and different apertures), get down low and shoot from your back, your belly, and your knees. Bend, twist, lean and climb up on things. Shoot toward the sky (carefully - blown out sunlight is NOT attractive :-) Just do something different and amaze yourself then share with us :-) Love you Caedians.
