Whoever lived there must have done so a long time ago. I like all those different colours and textures on the hillside.

Very interesting and unusual photo. Beautiful colors, especially the sky. Good job, Ed.

I like your choice of view, the textures and the colors of the hill. But, IMHO Ed, this is a little too much HDR for me, esp. the clouds :); very dramatic, of course. "Old restaurant" has just the right blend.

That's a house? People chose to live there on the top of a cold, barren and windy place? I wonder why. Gatekeeper to some important building below? A lookout station (for defense or maybe fires)? A religious hermit? Very interesting photo, nicely working with the sky. Great study of the rockface in the foreground as well.

It looks like a good place for a landslide EDV. The angle is very good to show the steepness of the hillside. Very nice effect.

Ed - The shepherd moved back to town and abandoned his abode? The stark terrain and dark cloudy sky create a lonely tone in this photo. Excellent work! Thad

It was probably abandoned because the tenants got tired of rolling down the hill. LOL. Very nice image, Ed. I love that sky.

They would have a perfect view from their windows! The angle and coloring adds sorrow to this sad house. Fantastic!
