This picture has so many elements to admire. Very nice. I like the lighting esp. in this one. Of course, the formations of the soldiers is so nice.

Fantastic shot Ed. The pale blue and white on the building and surroundings match the sky exactly.

Ed - A grand photo of the Victor Emmanuel II monument and the soldiers paying homage to the unknown soldier. Color, lighting, composition, post-photo work - all excellent. Thad

Not only impressive, but also a good reason to be be silent for one or two minutes to pay honor to the unknown soldier. How many of them died on the battlefields and other places fighting for their country and or freedom? Don't know. The only thing I know for sure is that they all have had a mother!
Great tribute Ed.
Regards, Cornelius.

I might have told you before, but in 1995, my wife and I sat on those steps and watched a parade. It was in the middle of June, and I can't remember what the parade was for. Excellent shot of this huge structure.
