Russian in Rome? I am surprised... Russian Orthodox churches are mostly by east border of Poland... Poland, like Italy is a catholic country. I would say that Polish governments are hooked on the Catholic Church. It's a pity... First german occupation (years 1939-1945), then russian (1945-1989) now Catholic...

The angle is great. And the tree and the church behind it add a nice balance. Also, interesting to see how the texture of the church changes from the lit to the shadow areas. Very cool.
You have had quite a spiritual day and you have shared it with us. A plaza with a Christmas Tree and this wonderful picture of a Russian Orthodox Church. I have enjoyed both and it keeps our attention on what Christmas is about.
