Wonderful sense of foreboding and mystery, Ed. That slightly open lower window -who lurks behind there?

The angle definitely makes this one special EDV. I think a vertical format would have enhanced it even more. Just a thought. Good post.

As always, dear Ed !!!!
I do love all about this image but have my doubts about the open window ... The doubts are of philosophical nature - not artistic though.
My vote would [and if chance permits - will] be: 10/10 for certain !

As a thumbnail it appeared that the lens was distorting the tower, bending it in the middle. Then I see the edge of the structure is straight from the base to the line of horizontal stonework between the windows. The edge of the tower above that line is straight as well but at a different angle. Since I've never seen a tower top tilted on purpose (not even Pisa's), I'm assuming the lower section of the tower angles inward, from bottom to top. I like a photo that makes me think, Ed. It's how I know my brain still works. Echoing the other comments, I find it to be very unique, pleasing to the eye, and well-shot. Thanks for sharing it.
