Just an exercise of using HDR for this imagine type. I'm grateful for your sincere feedback. The first flower is treated also by using a slight Orton effect. The second is pure HDR with Topaz filter adjustment. Ed.

Exercises lead to the top. Think however you´ve already reached that level, Ed.

I am not so sure Ed. I have also tried HDR on flowers but never posted them because I wasn't satisfied with the result. In my opinion, for flowers the best editing is normal condition or at the most a soft appearance.

Neat idea & work!! Both are super...I do like the left a wee more. The Orton's comes off a little more dreamy, which works for me!!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

Ed - I like the post-photos treatment effects of both flowers, but prefer the background in the left photo. That said, which Topaz plugin with which adjustment did you use on the right photo? Thad

I have to say that I like the Orton effect combo just alittle better. I think the depth is better and so is the color.

My sincere feedback is that I don't much like the Orton effect and that has nothing at all to do with your use of it! :)
