For some reason I can see scantily clad ladies walking around pouring wine from a pitcher as the others bask in the sun and water. In my book that makes this a great post.

Everywhere I look in this photo I see a different texture created by these Romans, and some are quite confusing. Having been a construction man in the US Navy Seabees, and a historian to boot, I'm intrigued by the honeycomb-like surfacing on that long far wall, but I see something like it, except in a wave-like form, in the ground surface on the far right, and I can't think of any reason for that. Fascinating shot, Ed.
