Edoardo, I think this is one of your very best photos! The many 'layers' of landscape, the wonderful fog, these all make this appear as tho it is an oil painting of one of the 'great masters'. Not only did you capture the perfect feeling, but the area itself is absolutely mangificent.The little town looks like a dreamscape! So lovely and peaceful. Verena

A very well-composed and executed shot! The only two things I can critique is that I think the colors seem a little too transparent or grayish (fixed easily by increasing contrast a bit), and the sky in particular seems a bit bleached of color. Besides that, I like it! :)

I just read Revan's (.Delkaoth) comment with interest, for what he noted as areas for improvement, I found that I liked as they are. The city on the hill is like it is behind a wedding veil, waiting for the groom to lift it up and out of the way. The house and property in the foreground is also waiting for this kiss from the groom.

Fantastic composition, Ed. The foreground buildings give a good sense of scale to the distant hilltop village and the clouds have an almost fairy-tale quality.
