Ed - A lovely view of the garden courtyard from this ambulatory, a photo in itself with the arches, columns, and table pedestal. Very nicely presented my friend. Thad
A tricky exposure problem that you seemed to have resolved with ease, Ed. Not only can we see the interior cloister details, but those in the knot garden and far side of the quadrangle. Also, the perfect symmetry is the only respectful way to present this. In short, another great job!
Ed. I like to agree with Bruce's comment above but I'm still guesssing how you've resolved that lighting problem. Normally I'm using a, so called, 'fill-in flash' for it, but in this case it would introduce other problems caused by the shades as result of the flash.
Very well done anyhow.
Regards, Cornelius.
The details of the inside enclosure are amazing! Of course, the view of the garden is just as perfect. Looks like a great place to sit down and watch the world go by for a little bit.
I have not yet managed to get good shots like this with that lighting, like Cornelius is referring to. I don't really have the patience to work on it either, but I am going to give it another try. Very pretty, and very good camera work, Ed.
