The Caetani Castle is one of the main monuments in Sermoneta. It was built in the XI. It has “Painted rooms” a big court, medieval furniture, a drawbridge and secret passages. Tourists can see beautiful landscapes when they go around the walls of the Castle. This decoration is presented in some of the guest rooms inside the Castle. Enjoy.

What a beautiful ceiling in this castle, with so much history in this painting. It's so sad they didn't try to restore some of it. Wonderful capture with lovely colours and detail plus thanks for the information about this castle.

Ed, my late father always said: 'Your bed must be good, but keep the rest of the interior of a bedroom simple, because your eyes ought to closed at night.' See that the initial owners of this bedroom had rather different ideas about that, or could it have been the difference in the contents of their wallets, lol.

I think Sea's father was a wise man. I think they have replaced paintings with mirrors on ceilings now.
