Situated near via Salaria in Nerola, a few kilometers north of Rome, the Orsini Castle dominates, from its high position and as far as the eye can see, the fertile countryside of the Sabina all the way to the Tiber Valley and the green Monti Lucretii. This is in addition to my previous one. Enjoy.

Very nice composition and angle of shot. The leaves in front adds 'life' to this shot. Great focus and details of the walls.

You've chosen a very good angle Ed, as it looks even more impressive than it already is.
The textures of the old bricks are wonderful too. Very good post, my friend.
Regards, Cornelius.
PS: Good Luck in the contest, Ed.

Ed - This is a formidable fortress! With the tree branch in the foreground, the empty sky is filled well for this photo. It is another of your fine photography work. Thad

I bet that is one fine hotel EDV. Another castle to add to the collection. Fine post.
